Find Research & Training Funding
NIH Pre and Postdoctoral Fellowship Resources
The National Institutes of Health awards National Research Service Award (NRSA) fellowships to promising pre (F31) and postdoctoral (F32) individuals (who are US citizens or permanent residents) that support their training. These awards are scored based on the merit of the applicant, the mentoring/training plan to be provided to the applicant by their faculty sponsor (i.e. mentor), and the quality of the research/training environment at the institution. Reviewers' comments are provided to applicants in the form of summary statements. Examples of my own F31 & F32 submissions and their summary statements are below.
